Westminster Academic Lyceum in Tashkent

Academic Lyceum of Westminster International University in Tashkent was established on December 9, 2008, in accordance with Decree # 270 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As it is stated in the Decree, the main goals of the lyceum are to satisfy the needs of real sector of economy for qualified specialists as well as train managers with profound knowledge of general and vocational subjects. The Lyceum is specialized in exact sciences with a focus on the English language. The Lyceum is the first educational institution in Uzbekistan that was established in close cooperation with Westminster International University in Tashkent and provides specialized secondary education in line with National Educational Standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is also expected that the students of the lyceum will have an opportunity to receive education in line with British National Foundation Qualification (NFQ).
